I’m a New York-based creative director and copywriter with over 15 years’ experience building a wide range of brands, like Gillette, Capital One, Venus, NFL, Applebee’s, BMW, TNT, Avis/Budget, NetJets, NewYork-Presbyterian and more. But really I’m just a big kid who’s excited to get his hands messy creating the next thing.
My creative partner, Jon Cochran, and I are an integrated team, having done everything from one-off branded content to 360º global product launch toolkits. Whatever the medium, it boils down to the same thing: mining undeniable human insights and meticulously crafting them into something that makes people feel things.
Here’s some of the stuff that has netted us:

As one of the longest-tenured teams on Gillette (almost 8 years), we helped reframe the brand and make it relevant for a modern audience.

We wrote, developed and led the productions for what turned out to be the most effective commercials in decades for Gillette and Venus, respectively.

As sole creative leads, we turned a project-based financial account into a $6MM retainer account.

We created a campaign for that account that helped generate $5B of activity on launch day.
I also write/record/perform music, a skillset that tends to find its way into my work sooner or later.
Above all of that, I’ve been lucky to work alongside some pretty incredible people, which makes all the difference.
